Q2. Are you insured and do you give a workmanship warranty?
We’re fully insured (public & employer’s liability) and include a workmanship warranty as standard. We also pass through manufacturers’ warranties on specified products.
Q3. Is the quote really free? What happens after I request one?
Yes. We call within 1 business day to book a visit, survey the space, and discuss scope, finishes, and budget. You’ll receive a written, itemised quote with next steps.
Q4. Do I need planning permission or is my project permitted development?
It depends on your property and scope. We’ll advise on permitted development, planning and building control. If needed, we can coordinate drawings, structural calcs and submissions, and guide you on Party Wall notices.
Q5. How long do projects typically take?
Typical site durations (guide only):
• Bathroom 2–3 weeks • Kitchen 2–4 weeks
• Loft conversion 6–10 weeks • Single-storey extension 10–16+ weeks
• Landscaping/patios 2–6 weeks.

Q6. What exactly is included in your quote?
A clear scope, drawings/notes, materials specification, labour, site setup, waste removal, and a payment schedule tied to milestones. We call out exclusions (e.g., appliances, client-supplied fixtures) so nothing is hidden.
Q7. How do you control dust, noise and site safety in my home?
We protect floors/doorways, isolate work zones, use dust extraction, maintain safe access, and tidy daily. Waste is removed via licensed carriers; we handle skip permits if required.
Q8. Can you manage building control, structural engineer and Party Wall?
Yes. We frequently coordinate building control inspections, structural engineering and Party Wall procedures with neighbours. We’ll advise and manage the admin with you.
Q9. What are the payment terms?
Staged payments aligned with progress (no 100% up-front). A small booking fee may secure dates; larger scopes may include provisional sums for finishes until you finalise selections.
Q10. What aftercare do you provide?
At completion we deliver a handover pack (warranties, manuals, care guides), complete any snagging, and remain available during the warranty period. You get a single point of contact throughout.
